Rules & Resolution

If all NYSNA-represented nurses participating in the NYC hospital strike that began on January 12, 2026 stop striking before Feb 20, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.

Additional Conditions

For "stop striking" markets, any of the following constitutes stopping a strike: official announcement by the group leadership that the strike has ended or an agreement has been reached, return to work by striking members, ratification of an agreement that ends the strike, or the strike ending for any reason. The following would resolve a "stop striking" market to YES: the strike ends permanently with workers returning, the strike is called off by union leadership, a court injunction ends the strike, or all striking locals/chapters end their strikes (for multi-site strikes). The following would NOT resolve a "stop striking" market to YES: some locations returning while others continue striking (unless specified), the strike continuing past the date, or converting to a different form of labor action.
